Autech GTS-4, only 198 were made. Most of them had their RB26DE engines removed ( Rocky Auto... ) they came with a 4 speed automatic.

Awesome engine wasted on a car way too heavy with a crappy gearbox. Long live the RB26DE... Outside of this car!

I honestly don’t understand why they didn’t make more of this engine and why it ended up in such a useless thing... Really a massive waste :(

Yeah I don’t really get it either, I think it was also in some other limited edition Autech....

That’s it? Only 198 RB26DE engines? Why not use a tuned RB25DE at that point? I don’t get it...

Why were the engines removed?

The RB26DE revs higher is much more bulletproof than the RB25DE and obviously a bit more powerful. Autech probably had a few more engines than that though, as spares.

S65 my friend. Come on now. You like playing the what if, and build it games. Why not just get a 4 door R33. Such as this. ;)
And drop the RB30DE out of a Holden Commodore.
Most people forget that Nissan built the RB30 for the Holden Commodore down in Australia. You know that the Aussie know how to make power with them too. :)
